Another trip to Longwood Gardens looking for the beauty of nature. While in the orchid room I believe I may have found the heart of nature's beauty. It's amazing the detail nature provides whether it be on a grand scale or in the smallest places.
Keep your head down, your nose to the grindstone, your shoulder to the wheel and work your fingers to the bone. And what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt.
So bask in the glory of another fine day. Where nature's abundant and butterskies are free.
I was digging way back in my digital images. This was taken with a Vivitar 2.1 megapixel back in 2003. A time of wrapping my head around photography once again. Experimenting with shades and tones just photographing everything I find. A good exercise at any stage of photography growth.
All this nice weather has stimulated my sense for exploration. Where better to explore then the world right in front of your face. So many micro-worlds and intimate designs. And sometimes we hardly notice and just pass on by.
Arise my country men, to arms to arms There are battles to win for Liberty’s sake No matter the snow and the winter’s cold bite We mustn’t give up though our bodies all ache It’s our time to suffer for the future’s insight We’ll give to our children a world to unite
I enjoy shooting photographs, and sharing them is half the fun. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites.
