Back by popular demand, I thought this would be quite scary for this year.s Halloween season. Originally taken for a music song assignment, the group that month was Abba. I couldn't pull off Fernando so Dancing Queen was it. Enjoy!!!

Bridge To The Past
WE are lucky in this part of the country to have a rich history. Covered bridges one of the legacies. They are all unique and fun to shoot and explore.

Water Colors
A stream reflects the beauty of the day, adding its own treatment to the scene.
Reflections are how we see ourselves
And how we see the world
For everything that our eyes see
Is a reflection of the light

In The Textured Moss
A little green leaf amongst the fall leaves and weathered step board. It seems to be calling to me. Telling me it wanted attention in balance with its withered brethren.

Wild North American Photographers
It’s autumn, and prime time for finding this species out and about. You can usually find them in groups or in pairs, as we see here. Craigky this is quite a discovery. They are not aggressive, but get to close and they can turn on you and snap a picture. And we all know what that means don't we. That's right, they will steal your soul.

Hanging Out For Autumn
The colors are really popping right now. It's slowly getting colder, but at least we get a great show before the winter freeze.

Curling Up For Fall
Saw these leaves the other day at work and finally got a chance to capture them. Not sure if this happens every year or not, but thought it was kind of cool,

Door Of A Textured Sun
The late afternoon sun played shadows across this textured wall and rugged door, creating a wide range of tones.

Field Of Dreams
The sun sets on the field of dreams
Revealing all, a surreal scene
And as we contemplate our life
It seems to wipe away all strife
A vibrant pallet just for fun
Displayed with light from the fading sun
A moment to enrich the soul
Reminding us of natures role

Silent Sentinel
A lonely tree sits standing guard.
Protector of the field of green
It holds its vigil silently
And keeps the field pristine

Classical Gas
Found this retro gas pump alongside the Birchrunville Store. It sure brings back memories of big cars and cheap gasoline.
Remember "Esso"? I do. I guess I'm showing my age.
Esso is an international trade name for ExxonMobil and its related companies. Pronounced /ˈɛsoʊ/ ("S-O"), it is derived from the initials of the pre-1911 Standard Oil, and as such became the focus of much litigation and regulatory restriction in the United States. In 1973, it was largely replaced in the U.S. by the Exxon brand, while Esso remained widely used elsewhere. In most of the world, the Esso brand and the Mobil brand are the primary brand names of ExxonMobil, with the Exxon brand name still in use only in the United States alongside Mobil.

A Real Corker
In the store front of Birchrunville Store is a cache of wine corks that make for a great photo op. A fun place to shoot and the proprietors are very friendly and accommodating.

Classic Rockers
Saturday, Mary Brooks Brown, Pat Shorten and yours truly took a tour of the Chester Springs area just looking for photo ops. It was a very productive shoot. So here we are rocking out for the camera.

Dropping Eaves
Textures and light provide a compositional element that caught my eye.
The origin of the term Eavesdropping:
Hampton Court Palace outside London was the palace of King Henry VIII of England. In the eaves of its Great Hall, small faces are carved into the oak beams which lean at an angle of 45 degrees to the ground. These are known as 'Eaves Droppers'. Henry was known to be a strong ruler and often put spies in crowds of people to listen in to conversations. He wanted his staff (who slept in the Great Hall between banquets and would lie on straw looking up at the eaves) to know that he or his people would be listening at all times.

On The Edge Of Fall
Colors revealed of the change that's coming. A subtle pallet from nature's own. A true reminder of the passing seasons. When we reap the beauty of a glorious fall.

A Grave Sunset
On saturday Mary Brooks-Brown, Trina Bauer, Beth Christman and I went to shoot the sunset over an old country chapel. While there I had a chance to visit the cemetery, where I found the evening light revealing this moody scene.

Alien Spawn
Looking like something that came to this world to entice then attack us, these exotic lily pads and flowers were a hit at Longwood Gardens this past weekend. I've never seen so many visitors enjoying the lily pad garden area.
