Confronting A Lonely Sea

Saturday I took the family down the shore (Ocean City, NJ) for some fun in the sun. Later on the boardwalk, I spied this woman all alone on the beach gazing out 'cross the waves. I found it a bit of a haunting lonely looking scene.

I agree with finding it haunting. Because she is clearly not dressed for the beach and is looking out to sea it makes you wonder what is she thinking or going to do. The sepia tone adds to the feeling as well Paul. Nice work.

I like this image.. To me it says that she is taking some time to reflect on life and enjoying the vast ocean!

Nice find Paul. Like the B&W/sepia tones.
