Bridge To The Past

WE are lucky in this part of the country to have a rich history. Covered bridges one of the legacies. They are all unique and fun to shoot and explore.

Love them. This one is a really beautiful example. We only have a precious few left in NJ.

We are lucky. I just can't stand when they take a covered bridge, replace it with a steel and concrete one and then move the covered bridge over dry ground a little distance away putting it effectively on display only. I cringe every time I see one like that.

Great shot, Paul. This looks like the Sheeder-Hall bridge over French Creek, near Birchrunville. I love that bridge and sometimes would purposely take a detour home from work to drive over that bridge.
