Carpeting The Fall


The leaves all blanket the banks of the stream.
Like a carpet of glistening gold
Some trees nearly bare as the season matures
Ushering in winter's cold

Love the title and commentary Paul! Great reflections too. Like Beth, I'm not ready for fall to end. All the leaves in my town are just about down. I guess winter's really on it's way!
